These terms govern your use of this website and any therapy sessions, consultations, EMDR Intensives, or clinical supervision arranged through it. By accessing this site or booking a session, you agree to these terms. They are provided by Essentia Psychological Services Co. (trading as Essentia Psychology), Rm 2001 Woho Business Centre, 119 Jervois Street, Sheung Wan, Hong Kong.

A clinical relationship is established only through a formal client agreement with Dr. Andre directly, in the context of private sessions.

Eligibility
Sessions booked directly through this site are intended for adults aged 18 and over. Child and Adolescent Therapy is arranged and consented to by a parent or legal guardian. By using this site or booking a session on your own behalf, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old.
Sessions and fees
Individual and couple sessions (50 minutes) are HKD $2,000, whether online or in-person. Fees are reviewed from time to time; the current rate is confirmed at the time of booking. Family, group, marital/relationship mediation, and Child and Adolescent Therapy fees are confirmed individually depending on format and duration.
Cancellation policy
Dr. Andre offers free cancellation up to 24 hours before your session. If you need to change or cancel an appointment, please let reception know at least 24 hours in advance. If you cancel later than that, and it hasn’t been discussed otherwise, you will be charged the full session fee. See our FAQ for further detail.
Confidentiality
Everything discussed in your session is confidential. Nothing is disclosed to anyone without first discussing it with you and getting your written or verbal permission, except where required by law, where there is danger of harm to yourself or someone else, or where there is suspicion of abuse of a child or vulnerable person. Clinical supervision and training
Clinical supervision and consultation engagements are governed by a separate agreement made directly with Dr. Andre, which takes precedence over these general terms for those services.
Intellectual property
All content on this website, including text, images, and written articles, is the intellectual property of Essentia Psychological Services Co. and Dr. Julia A. Andre. You may not reproduce, distribute, adapt, or commercially use any content from this site without prior written permission. Personal, non-commercial sharing of articles with attribution is permitted.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Essentia Psychological Services Co. and Dr. Julia A. Andre will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of this website or participation in any session, consultation, or engagement. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Hong Kong SAR.
